Happy 19th Linnie Tommy Ong~~~~~~!

Today is my BFF Tom's 19th birthday!!! YAI! The ONLY sad thing is...Xiang and I are unable to make it for her birthday celebrations. Eh...don't think we're that heartless leh. People birthday we don't go. Actually can go one lah, you just sponsor me an air ticket from suzhou to singapore can already. And don't you dare gimme those one way ticket, 一去不回头, those kind of ticket hor! WHACK YOU UPSIDE DOWN UH!

Anyways, as I was saying, Xiang and I are both in china now, so we are unable to be there with Linnie on her birthday. WHICH SUCKS SERIOUSLY. From what I remembered, I have never missed any of my jie meis birthday celebrations lor. Unless they don't have one lah, which is another story althogether. haha...

This is my FIRST time missing Linnie's birthday ever since we became jie meis. Unlike Sylvia Tan who missed it like twice or something. HAHAH! OOPS. Shouldn't have said that, she'll kill me for sure. HAHA. I remembered her 17th birthday PARTAYE. WHAT A BLAST THAT WAS! And I'm not kidding. HAHAHA!

I just want to dedicate this one whole post for her so that she would seriously stop being so grumpy and nag at me for missing out on her birthday this year. HAHAH!

Missing Pepper Day 8, 9 and 10...

On Monday...nothing much happened. We had lab until 5pm as usual. The only interesting thing is the selection of students to join the china students in the singing competition on tuesday. HAHA...

I very "HENG" and my number got picked. But I managed to get away with my street smarts. MUAHAH.

So the day passed by like that...until at night. Nicey and I watched Stephen Chow's movie and laughed till we BTH. HAHA. Damn farnie lah that guy. Watched halfway and I web cam-ed with momsie. Bra's webcam spoil lor. SUCKS. Cannot see my cuteeeee little pepper. BOOHOO.

Slept after finish webcaming.

On tuesday...nothing in the morning. Lab all the way till 5pm again. Went out for dinner and came back for the singing competition. It was quite interesting initially, but started to get boring after many groups later. HEH. But I enjoyed the one where our friends are in it. And guess what??

WE GOT FIRST PLACE!!! Although I have zero credit to claim cuz all I did was to whoop and cheer. But still...I'm happy for them! hahah...

Today, we skipped class and went to Water Village. HAHAH! It was a planned tour lah. Of course we didn't skip class on purpose! It was a LITTLE boring, but after lunch it was kinda fun. HEH.

Reached back hostel around 2:45pm. Napped for a little while and met the rest at 3:30pm to go to Shi Quan Jie. Took cabs there. It was quite a disappointment. Nothing much for us to shop. So we all took a bus to Guan Qian Jie. HAHAH. We walked like damn a lot lah! Turn many rounds. HAHA. Well, at least it's good exercise. HEH.

We all felt damn bloody victorious when we finally reached Guan Qian Jie. We took a victory photo at the gate. HAHA! It was damn farneh!!

We decided to eat dinner at KFC, again cuz we kinda miss the food there. It is better than singapore's one mah. HEH.

After dinner, we split into 2 groups. We followed Wenjie to get his adidas jacket he's been aiming for the longest time. So he got it and he's like DAMN happy. HAHA. Next, the girls went to do our manicure and pedicure. I did manicure while the others did pedicure. Only Ang shu ning that vain pot did both. HAHA. So...I got my glittery nails! YAY~~~Love it. HAHA...

Missing Pepper Day 7...

Lab resumed today. SIAN. Heng it ended at 3pm. HEH. But we have to clean our hostel. So I swept the floor and Nicey threw out the garbage. We're planning on mopping and cleaning the toilet a little next week. HEH.

Lunch was surprisingly OKAY today. We ate at the canteen. The fish was not bad...I ate 2 bananas today. Nicey and me really trying to implement fruit in our diets lor. Cuz we're really snacking way too much.

Speaking of snacks...I LURVEEE MY STRAWBERRY OREOS!! It's damn good! MUCH MUCH better than those normal cookies and cream ones. I find those too sweet. But the strawberry ones are just nice. For me. I feel like buying more back. But...SHALL SEE HOWWW. hahah...

We're supposed to go to Shi Quan Street today. But it was cancelled. So okays, went to have our dinner and slacked all the way in our hostel.

ANG SHU NING came to our room to chat. THAT BITCH! hahah...Okay lah, I still love you loads loads k? Like how you love me. HAHAH!

Missing Pepper Day 5 and 6...

Wonder how come I named my title missing pepper? Cuz almost everyone around me is naming it suzhou day 1 day 2 and all. So I thought I shall be more creative and name it missing pepper. AND I AM REALLY MISSING MY PEPPER UNTIL SIAO OKAY! Whenever I see a dog on the street I will immediately think of pepper. SO CUTEEEEE. BOOHOO...

Anyways, called linnie just now since she's the sweetest of all to miss me on the first day on her way to school. HAHAH. Chatted awhile and hung up. Then I decided to send lovely emails to my jie meis. SO JIE MEI MEN...PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL HOR! HAHAHAH!!! Xiang already did and she's so bloody TOUCHED by it. TEE HEE HEE HEE HEE HEEEEE~~~~

And now the problem is I cannot just shoo her off saying I'll update through twitter, cuz obviously I'm unable to do that! So I have zero choice but to update den. HEE.

Okay okay, updates. Yesterday, we went on a tour around Suzhou. 3 places. I think the first place was the Humble Administator's Garden, the Museum and then to Tiger Hill. The museum was the most boring one of all. Like...we totally have no interest in the things that were on display. OOPS. haha...so we just kept on snapping away. Took too many photo yesterday man. HAHAH...

As for today, we went to Shanghai~ What everyone has been waiting for. HAHA. SHOPPING GALORE~~~

As the whole group is travelling there together, we booked a coach that brought us to and fro. It costs us 50 RMB. Once we reached there, we split into 3 big groups. Mainly, the SITs, the SEGs and the mixed group of SITs and SEGs. HAHAH...

Eileen's friend from Shanghai came to meet us. They know each other through the Rainie Fan Club I think. She's called Ni Zi. She's very sweet as to bring us around the places where there are more shopping. But sadly though, we didn't get anything. Except for some daily necessities from Wastsons. China's Watsons is the same price as Singapore's one lor. For some products, it's steeper. SIAN. No chance in getting my Wave liao. They didn't have it there. *BIG SIGH* heh.

We then went for lunch at this place which sells Italian food like pasta and pizzas and ETC. It's called Saizeriya. Surprisingly, the pricing was really kinda unexpected. In a good way though. HAHA. We all ordered one main course plus a dessert. My main course was Grilled Chicken with cheese and tomato and tiramisu for dessert. The tiramisu was SOOO GOOD. HAHAH...My main course was not bad too. We all had a lovely lunch. We also ordered 3 pizzas to share among 14 people. Ni Zi was nice enough to treat us the pizzas. HEE. XIE XIE NI ZI. She was so embarassed when we said that out loud in the restaurant. hahah...

After lunch, we proceeded to shop. We split into 2 groups. Our group's main motive was to find ZARA. Unfortunately, we failed. And the rest were so sore about not going in ZARA that they kept on insisiting that they want to go to ZARA. But there wasn't really enough time. OOPSIE. Sorry kids. HAHAH!

Met up with the other group and we all took cab to Cheng Huang Miao Shopping Mall. This is sort of a shopping paradise in Shanghai. It's a very interesting place cuz all the buildings look temple-like. I didn't get anything there although I saw one shop which sells ALOT of hello kitty. But oh wells. HAHAH...

Walked around some more and we all went to Cha Chan Ting to eat xiao long baos and some dim sum. It was good. Seems like all we do here is eat. We spend on food more than anything else. FATS MAN. HAHA...I so don't wanna look like fatsie. WAHAHAH!

When it was about time to meet with everyone and go back to Suzhou, we took a bus back to the meeting place. 2RMB for the bus ride. Everyone got seats, which was great. Alighted and we took photos until the bus arrived.

Missing Pepper Day 2, 3 and 4...

This has been my forth day in Suzhou. And I didn't really tell much about what's going on here. I have only web cam-ed with my family and pepper once on tuesday. So I bet they wanna know more about my life here. HAHA.

I just got my china prepaid card yesterday. It didn't activate overseas calling for me. So I have to wait till today before I can call home. I called home when I was having break. Momsie picked up the phone. TEE HEE. Chatted awhile before naughty fatsie screamed into my ear.

"Pepper's cute unlike you~~~~"

SO WANNA SMACK HER.

I asked her to call pepper to the phone. She put the phone near pepper and let me hear her panting. Can't hear much though. HAHA. PEPPER SOOO CUTE.

Ended the phone call with reminders from mama to take my vitamin C pills. HEH.

For dinner tonight, everyone decided to settle for good old cup noodles. Feel more like home. HAHA. We are all very sick of the too oily and salty food here. But the dinner turned out to be more horrible than the oily and salty food lah!

Initially we were all very excited about the cup noodles dinner. But then, the water was not hot enough! Because the temperature on the water dispenser was NOT ON!! OMGGGG...almost everyone got "COLD" noodles except me and nicey. Cuz we were the last 2. HAHA. So henggggg...

BUT THENNNN...................

The next room we went to, the water was HOT. Nicey went first. So she got her steaming cup of noodles nicely cooked. The next few people after her was SUAY. Seems like nicey used up the hot water already and you have to wait for awhile before the water will turn hot again or something. So the people who got "COLD" noodles before got "WARM" noodles now. HAHAHAH! Once again...I was HENGGG. I was the only one with my cup noodles still dry. heh.

The next room I went to assured HOT water. BUT THEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was one of the last one to use it. SO I GOT NORMAL LUKEWARM WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DAMN OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!

My seasoning came out in chunks and my noodles were like marmee lah!!! I totally didn't feel like eating already. After waiting for awhile, I went to get more water from the dispenser. Lucky this time it's hot. So my noodles were more or less cooked. But the seasoning damn gross still. So I totally didn't touch the soup. I just finished the noodles and threw the whole cup away full of soup. NOT A VERY HAPPY DINNER.

Apparently everyone thought so too. So off they went to find more food downstairs. I was alone in my room finishing my noodles at the time. Lucky nicey bought bandito for me. 5RMB and it tasted HEAVENLY. HAHAH...

While I was eating alone in my room, I tried to call home and tell them how pathetic our dinner became. HAHA. But no one picked up. I sms-ed my bra.

Turns out they were all out having dinner.

Today is Lijun's 21st birthday!! HAPPY HAPPY 21ST LIJUN!!! TEE HEE. Hope you LOVE the bag!!

Bra brought Lijun to PS cafe and he HAO LIAN-ED to me that the ambience is damn romantic and nice. WOO KINKY! HAHAH!! He also said the rest of the family having western food at another place. So they were all having good food while I was stuck with my cup of not very cooked noodles. SO POOR THINGGG. *wails* hahah...But I'm not complaining though. HEE.

Our first lunch in suzhou. Went to a Tea restaurant. Kinda posh. The food there is nice. But the amount of oil in the first photo is actually enough to scare you to death right. HAHA. But it was good and cheap. That's all that matters. To me anyways. HAHAH!

Went to have KFC for dinner on the 2nd day. I ordered the zinger meal. The default side was corn salad instead of fries. So I have the corn salad. Quite refreshing I must say. A healthy side dish. The chicken tasted nicer than singapore's. I have no idea why. Price wise...about the same. =]

Dinner on the third day. 炒肉面。 Totally don't see any 炒肉. HAHAH! But the noodles were pretty delicious. Tasty. Tasty until I finished Siew's one for her too. OOPS. HAHAH...

Betcha all wanna see how my "home" looked like right? HAHA. I lament the fact that my bed sheets are not as chio as xiang. HEH. And our bed is SUPER DUPER MESSY. TEE HEE. When I webcam-ed with anyone, they would request a tour of the room. Whenever the cam lands on the bed, I would be sure to hear, "Wah liao eh! HOW COME SO MESSY!!!?" hahah...yea yea. It's MY bed k? I'll decide how it looks like. And for once, nicey and me don't have to make our beds every morning! And no parents breathing down our necks. HEEEEEE...

The toilet. The landlord said that the toilet bowl cannot flush any toilet paper or it will choke easily. We still flush it down the toilet bowl and I hope it doesn't give us any problems soon. *fingers crossed*
