wHat iS yOur FaV BiRd?

Ever since sunday, I have been spending time with my primary school mates, or should i say MIDE. wahaha...it was all very sudden. On sunday, i was with via and gich at the library. So we decided that we will come to the library on monday too. Then on monday, jun kai joined us and we met Cheryl and Charmaine. And the boyfriend. haha...so again, we decided to meet on tuesday to study. On tuesday, we went to science centre's Mac. Since it was packed, we went to cheryl's house instead. It has been such a long time since i last went her house. When was that? OH! some where in 2003. wahaha...my god. so long! The funny thing was, although we have not seen each other for ages, we still get along really well. Just like the old times in primary school. I really dont understand why. Guess it's the strength of our friendship? But that sounds really funny. haha...oh well. I am just very glad that i am hanging out with them again. haha!


Saw this conversation on the TV. The commercial for <<宝贝今天不回家>>. It was hosted by Dasmond Koh and Michelle Chia. I was laughing like mad. haha...post the conversation in 2 languages.

Chinese:

*They were at the bird park or something. Watching the animal show.

Dasmond: 你最喜欢什么 bird?
Girl: KUKU BIRD!
Dasmond: *stunned for a moment* Orh, 那种会从时钟出来 den KUKU, 那种 hah?
Girl: 不是啦! 不是那种 kuku bird.
Dasmond: 不是?

*He then grabbed the boy beside her.
Dasmond: *puzzled* den 是那一种？
Boy: 那种小便出来的 kuku bird 咯!
Dasmond: *falls back laughing*

English:

Dasmond: what kind of bird you like?
Girl: KUKU bird!
Dasmond: Orh, those that will pop out from clocks and say "cuckoo cuckoo!", those type hah?
Girl: No lah! is not those kind of kuku bird.
Dasmond: no?
Dasmond: Then is what kind?
Boy: those that can pee come out 1 that kind of bird!
Dasmond: *falls back laughing*

I kept laughing when i heard it. I am not sure if the conversation was like this, but the idea was there la. haha...Nowadays ah, kids are so much worse than us. We dont speak like that in front of national tv do we? But then again, we havent been on national tv. Damn...
