I think this is totally true. and we can be like that. friends forever! *smiles*

I guess Im the sort that just keep friendships close to my heart no matter what, because I like to sit alone and recall all the happy memories.

Then, it made me think again.

Which am I?

Im not the sort that likes to cling on to the old. You see, clinging, and putting close to your heart are TWO DIFF THINGS.

I dont believe that, as long as theres little communication, friendships will fade.
Though it may be true, for some.

I have a couple of good friends, whom I meet only once a year. Yes, A YEAR. 'Cause our busy schedules just kill us.
But its the once-a-year-meet-ups that I enjoy, miss, and look forward to.

I've learnt: Its the strong bond thats most significant in friendships.

Not superficial things.

I need not talk to you often, but you'll always be a friend. I need not see you often, but you'll always be a friend. I need not sms or chat online with you often, but you'll always be a friend.

You'll always be a friend.

Because, I think about you. I smile when I think of the joys we shared. I keep you,

close to my heart.
